Here’s a sample set of a few common ones…

How do I sign up?

For self-paced learning, go to our class portal and pick the package that fits your needs.  We recommend Missouri Real Estate Professional Track – it comes with a question bank to help you be successful on the exams.

What does it cost?

Prices range from $575 to $350 depending on the type of learning and course package you choose. Unless you have prior real estate knowledge, we DO NOT recommend purchasing a course that does not come with exam prep tools. Note: All instructor-led courses include exam prep tools by default.

Why does in person and webinar cost more? Isn’t the content the same?

Sort of… Our instructor-led courses utilize coursework we developed IN Missouri FOR Missouri. We also have greater overhead costs when providing space, an instructor, and other items which necessitates a higher fee.

What if I only need the 24-hour Missouri Practices Course? Can I take just that?

Yes and we only offer that course in a self-paced format. There isn’t any real benefit to force you to sit in a chair for three days for this material. Whether you need it for a reciprocal license or had issues with an on-time renewal, you can find that course here.

What if I change my mind or can’t pass the exam? Can I get a refund?

Yes, we can give you a refund. Two things – give us a call/email and let’s talk it through before you decide to quit and we can only refund 80% of your purchase price. Credit card companies take a share and we have other expenses that mean it costs us money if we gave 100%. We hope you understand.

Is the class and the test mandatory to become a real estate agent in Missouri?

There are exceptions if you’re a licensed attorney, but for the rest of us mortals, it is required.

How do I get my “proof” that I took this class?

On successful completion, you’ll get a certificate which meets that requirement.  You need to send a copy of it into the Missouri Real Estate Commission when you apply for your license.  We also have to upload your information to PSI (the people who administer the exam) and they’ll send you an email so you can register. Please DO NOT create an account with them prior to receiving your invitation to take the exam. It causes problems. Not unfixable ones, but it will slow you down when attempting to register.

Is there a syllabus?

Not a syllabus per se, but there is a document the state provides that has a lot of detail about getting licensed, including a topic breakdown of what is required for the exam. That breakdown starts on page 12 and the document is here.

What does the class cover?

Everything you need to know so that you can take and pass both portions of the Missouri Licensing Exam.

This class covers general information about multiple aspects of real estate including residential, commercial, property management, financing and appraisal to name a few.

The class isn’t designed to make you a great real estate agent.  It’s designed to help you pass the exam so you can get licensed so you can become a great real estate agent.

How much does it cost to take the licensing exam?

$52 – you can take it at a PSI testing facility with an on-site proctor or you can take it remotely at a location of your choosing with an online proctor. If you pass one test and not the other, you’re done with the one you passed. But it’s still $52 to take the next one. They don’t charge for the exam itself, they’re charging for the proctoring service.

I looked at the online salesperson licensing packages, but I don’t understand the differences. What are they?

72-hour Prelicensing Package v1.0 – Includes the 48-hour and 24-hour education requirements for licensure ONLY. No access to a question bank, although it could be purchased later.

Missouri Real Estate Professional Track – 48 & 24-hour packages, plus a question bank of both national and Missouri-focused review questions along with a set of videos which tie together all the information you learned in the course. This is the one we recommend for most people.

Missouri Real Estate Career Accelerator Package – Professional Track plus access to additional online coaching to help to transfer from learning how to pass the test to being an active and successful real estate professional. We offer this, but there are so many avenues to undertake in real estate and so many different requirements brokers have. To us, it makes more sense to wait a minute to understand your market before signing up for training.
